The Program Coordinator is responsible for oversight and coordination of all faculty-led programs and overseeing a team-based model of
advising for these programs. In conjunction with this, the Program Coordinator creates and implements SOP's; develops web and paper
based resources for students/faculty/other clientele; coordinates with the many on/off campus partners on various study abroad issues
(i.e., financial aid/budgets/course approvals, etc.); supervises advising staff and helps to identify and provide development
opportunities for them as well as coordinate training and orientation of staff who primarily advise faculty-led programs and other
staff with team related responsibilities for faculty-led programs.
In addition, the Program Coordinator provides and coordinates advising/recruiting/assistance for students on such issues as
scholarships/personal/financial aid/health & safety and academic matters related to international education opportunities; develops
budgets for faculty led programs and oversees fiscal processing related to these; and assists with maintenance of program/student
records/database/admissions processing and other administrative tasks related to the international education opportunities such as
drafting office correspondence/researching and preparing reports/creating program budgets/assisting with travel arrangements/handling
various types of applications.
Additional duties include assisting with the planning and implementation of activities such as faculty and student pre-departure
orientation programs/seminars/workshops, and team efforts such as scholarships/technical & database issues/publicity/assessment, and
joint programming with community entities. The Program Coordinator also serves as liaison and mediator for students and faculty with
campus personnel/families/community members/prospective employers/ institutions/agencies/governments on issues related to students and
their international programs and activities.

Manage immigration employment section within the International Student & Scholar Services office and assist in providing direction and support to the entire office. Administer permanent residency caseload for the petitions supported by the university. - Overseas and participates in day-to-day training of SEVIS web system and USCIS Regulations for the following applications -
Initial I-20's for newly admitted international students; Transfers between institutions in the US; Semester SEVIS Registrations;
Terminations; Program Extensions; Curricular Practical Training (CPT); Pre-Completion/Post Completion; Optional Practical Training;

- Responsible for the Processes that Maintain Veteran Benefits for OUHSC Students; Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of
Veteran Regulations for OUHSC veteran students with benefits; Responsible for creating and maintaining set-up for VA-ONCE database
system; Responsible for the daily training of the Assistant to the Regulatory; Officer in the area of VA benefits applications and

- Assessing and Advising. Researches Potential Fraudulent Credentials; Investigates potential transcript tampering, working with the
original school to find erroneous paper, signatures, courses, hours, or grades; Investigates any area of fraud pertaining to the
application or records process; Officially represents the Office of Admissions and Records when contacting other external institutions
regarding the validity of official documents received.
- Policy/Procedures/Processes. Maintains the Processes for Transfer Credit for Applicants Staff, Students and other Outside inquires;
Set-up and maintain transfer credit policy and informational materials to include policy, procedures, contacts, and in-out logs.
Maintain Transfer Credit Petition log for monitoring the process of petitions submitted for both Equivalencies and General Education
Course Approval; Process and review Transfer Course Petitions (Lower Division); Work with Norman Campus staff to relate equivalency
decisions for lower division course for entry into CICS Institutional Transfer Course File and into PeopleSoft External Education Setup
